Maybe a Percheron horse

Maybe a Percheron

🐎Module introduction

This is a maneless Perch (I removed them since there is no light mane option in the game like a real Perch), inspired by the days when they were used as warhorses to carry knights (not the 19-hand-tall behemoths they are today, but still pretty big). It is about the same height as an in-game Hungarian half-blood horse and comes equipped with horseshoes. While I wish I could have found a model of the horse's head that was more true to the characteristics of a draft horse, regardless, the horse looks very nice!

⚙️ Installation instructions

Must use Lenny's Mod Loader. Copy the file to your lml/Stream folder (create it if you don't have one). If the mane or tail does not appear, you may need version.dll. I'm not sure if the mane and tail I used are online content.

📝 Instructions for use

If you want Arthur to ride this horse in story mode, you'll need a way to spawn it, as it replaces the Strawberry Red Ardennes horse (which means that in the epilogue, Sadie will have one). I use Rampage Trainer.

If you want to replace a different horse, just change the file name to the file name of the horse you want to replace. It will inherit the characteristics of the replaced horse (courage, speed, etc.).

If you want to change status such as speed, acceleration, etc., or if you want it to appear as a Percheron in the description, use the Horse Names and Stats mod.

Install & use Install: follow the bundled instructions

  1. Unzip the archive from playbuff and read the bundled readme / instructions first.
  2. There is no universal mod manager for this game: some mods replace game files directly, some go into a game-specific Mods folder, and some need a game-specific community loader or tool first — follow the bundled readme.
  3. Place the files exactly as the readme says; mods with listed dependencies need those installed too.
  4. Launch the game to confirm it loaded; some games require enabling mods in settings or an in-game mod menu.

Install locations vary a lot between games and mods — the bundled readme is the most reliable guide.
