About this mod Machine translation
The soundtrack from the original game is added, and while it's still flawed, it works brilliantly.
marstonsoundtrack - RDR1 dynamic soundtrack
🎵 **Inject the original classic music into "Red Dead Redemption 2"! **
This mod dynamically integrates the original soundtrack from Red Dead Redemption into the second-generation game, allowing you to relive those iconic melodies as you explore the West.
✨ Mod content
The mod contains the following types of audio tracks:
- **Ambient Sound Track** - Play during free exploration to set the mood.
- **Wanted Audio Track** - Triggered when being hunted, adding to the tension.
- **Epilogue Track** - (More to come)
- **Quest and Miscellaneous Audio Tracks** - Audio tracks that may play during some quests or scenes.
**⚠️ IMPORTANT**: If you want to remove a miscellaneous or quest audio track, please delete the corresponding `AWC` file in the folder.
🐛 Known issues and precautions
Please note that this mod is not perfect and is still a work in progress.
- **Compatibility**: Due to the random nature of the game itself, audio track triggering in some areas may not be fully tested.
- **Existing Bug**:
- The audio track may be interrupted suddenly.
- The audio track may be played in the wrong area (this is mainly related to the duplication mechanism of the in-game audio track).
- **Troubleshooting**: If you encounter sound effects issues, you can try to fix them by going to **Rampage Trainer > Miscellaneous > Game Music > Stop Music Event**.
🚨 **Developer Reminder**: This module may not be perfect until it receives more audio-related technical support. Thank you for your understanding and patience!

Install & use Install: follow the bundled instructions
- Unzip the archive from playbuff and read the bundled readme / instructions first.
- There is no universal mod manager for this game: some mods replace game files directly, some go into a game-specific Mods folder, and some need a game-specific community loader or tool first — follow the bundled readme.
- Place the files exactly as the readme says; mods with listed dependencies need those installed too.
- Launch the game to confirm it loaded; some games require enabling mods in settings or an in-game mod menu.
Install locations vary a lot between games and mods — the bundled readme is the most reliable guide.
