🌟Module introduction

The story of Abigail and John is one of the best Western sagas—a tale of love, grief, heartbreak, trials and tribulations, fall and redemption, and ultimately marriage and family. This mod elegantly adds an intimate interaction mechanism for Abigail and John in the epilogue, making their marriage more realistic and moving.

🎮 How to use

At Beecher's Hope at the end of the game, Abigail will have a new interaction option called "Sweet Talk". If you try during the day, she will reject you in several ways. But she will be more receptive to your flirting during bedtime between 11pm and 2am, when everyone else is asleep (or about to fall asleep).

⚙️ Installation instructions

**IMPORTANT**: If you are using another mod that already contains a `metapeds.ymt` file in the `\lml\replace\update_4` folder, or using any other mod that contains this file, you will need to merge.

**Merge method**:

• Open your existing file with a text editor
• Open the downloaded LoveStory file with a text editor
• Search for "cs_princessisabeau" in the current file
• Search for "cs_princessisabeau" in the downloaded file
• Copy the "cs_princessisabeau" part from `` to ``
• Paste into an existing file replacing the corresponding section
• Click Save to complete the merge

If there is no `update_4` folder in the `lml\replace` folder, you can ignore this step. Just copy and paste the downloaded file into the root directory of your game.

**Requirements**: Requires Scripthook v1 and LML (Lenny's Mod Loader). Please make sure both are installed correctly. After unzipping the zip file, copy LoveStory.asi and lml to the root directory of the game and run the game as administrator.

🔗 Compatibility

LoveStory should be 100% compatible with my other mod, Harlots. I have installed both mods side by side and have never had any conflict issues. They are completely isolated from each other, meaning you can install just one, or both at the same time.

📝 Notes

This is version 1.0.0 and most likely has some bugs. I'm working hard to coordinate with the game's native AI and internal scripting to make this mod as natural as possible. I and others tested it on a few different versions of the game and everything seemed to go smoothly.

If you find a bug, please let me know and I'll try to fix it. Constructive feedback and suggestions are always welcome.

**Known unfixable issues**:

• In the scene, the player's clothes may intersect with Abigail's legs.
• In the scene, Abigail has a small texture crack from the bottom of her neck to the top of her shoulders (which her necklace could cover up a bit)
• Prompts may cut into native script conversations, but will not affect them
• Adjusting timing using various modifiers (such as "Rampage") may have unpredictable results with the game's native AI/scripts
