LOS Enemy Blips
✨ Mod Inspiration and Acknowledgments
This mod is inspired by the excellent work of opariffazman, specifically his SoftCores mod. To ensure compatibility with my other mods, I dug through his code and extracted only the hostile marker display functionality. Many thanks to him for open source code, without his work this module would not have been born!

🎯 Features
Removed "omniscient" ability from enemy markers on radar! Enemies will now only show up on the minimap if your character can actually see them. This greatly enhances the immersion and realism of the game, allowing you to no longer rely on the "God's perspective" mini-map.
⚙️ Installation method
Installation is the same as other .asi script modules:
- Place the file into your `Red Dead Redemption 2` game folder
- Requires Alexander Blade's ScriptHookRDR2 installed, available from the official website
📝 Notes
- The mod has been tested and works well, but there may still be some minor issues
- All extra features of the original mod have been removed to maintain simplicity
- The current version does not have an .ini configuration file or a disabled option in the task
- If users have needs, we may consider adding more configuration options in the future
Experience a more authentic Western adventure and let your senses be your true guide!
Install & use Install: follow the bundled instructions
- Unzip the archive from playbuff and read the bundled readme / instructions first.
- There is no universal mod manager for this game: some mods replace game files directly, some go into a game-specific Mods folder, and some need a game-specific community loader or tool first — follow the bundled readme.
- Place the files exactly as the readme says; mods with listed dependencies need those installed too.
- Launch the game to confirm it loaded; some games require enabling mods in settings or an in-game mod menu.
Install locations vary a lot between games and mods — the bundled readme is the most reliable guide.
