Longer Girthier Springfield Rifle
✨ Module introduction
The Springfield rifle model in the original game really "wronged" this famous gun - it was too small! It was supposed to be about the same size as the Krag/bolt-action rifle in the game, but ended up looking like a skinny "little stick."
So, I took action! I resized and shaped it to more closely resemble a **Springfield Model 1888**, with all wraps and stock modified accordingly. If you like, the mounting points of the scope are still aligned and you can add a scope to your gun at any time.
**Reference source**: I used a custom Krag rifle for size reference (this mod will also be released soon).

⚠️ Known issues
As the model size increases, some minor problems inevitably arise:
- **Mold penetration problem**: Arthur's fingers may slightly penetrate the mold with the gun body.
- **First person perspective**: When aiming in first person (ADS), the field of view may be partially blocked by the gun body. Therefore, players who love machine sights may need to get used to it~ 😅

🛠️ Installation instructions
Installation is very easy! Just unzip the folder inside the zip package and put it into your **LML folder**.

❗ IMPORTANT NOTE (For Red Dead Offline Users)
If you are using the **Red Dead Offline** mod, please note: Modified wrap options 2-5 (these are online content) may cause the game to crash in the Gunsmith customization menu. As a temporary solution, **I have completely removed these parts**.

Enjoy a more historically accurate and substantial Springfield Rifle! 🔫
Install & use Install: follow the bundled instructions
- Unzip the archive from playbuff and read the bundled readme / instructions first.
- There is no universal mod manager for this game: some mods replace game files directly, some go into a game-specific Mods folder, and some need a game-specific community loader or tool first — follow the bundled readme.
- Place the files exactly as the readme says; mods with listed dependencies need those installed too.
- Launch the game to confirm it loaded; some games require enabling mods in settings or an in-game mod menu.
Install locations vary a lot between games and mods — the bundled readme is the most reliable guide.
