Small home map editor xml file for in-game attic location
The Loft
🏠 Module introduction
This is a little house that I built in an in-game loft location that I thought would be fun if someone lived in it. After the construction was completed, it really achieved the effect I wanted!
⚠️ Notes
Hostile NPCs will occasionally spawn in the attic, which is a bit annoying but is part of the game mechanics. Currently, refresh points cannot be deleted through the map editor. I will study this issue later.
If the item collapses, just press F5 and close the interface.
The YMAP version does not require a map editor, but does require LML to be installed
📦 Installation Guide
**XML version installation:**
Place the .xml file into your "Maps" folder (path similar to: "Red Dead Redemption 2/MapEditor/Maps")
After entering the game, press F5, select "Load Map", then select "bounty_hunter_loft" to load
**YMAP version installation:**
Place the .ymap file into the "Red Dead Redemption 2/lml/stream" folder
🔧 Essential tools
- **XML version required** - MAP EDITOR
- **YMAP version required** - LML
🪑 Optional modules
It is recommended to install the SEATS module, so that you can use the chairs in the house, or even the seating function of the entire map!

*Enjoy your time in the loft cabin! Although this small house is simple, it is full of life and adds warmth to the game world. *
Install & use Install: follow the bundled instructions
- Unzip the archive from playbuff and read the bundled readme / instructions first.
- There is no universal mod manager for this game: some mods replace game files directly, some go into a game-specific Mods folder, and some need a game-specific community loader or tool first — follow the bundled readme.
- Place the files exactly as the readme says; mods with listed dependencies need those installed too.
- Launch the game to confirm it loaded; some games require enabling mods in settings or an in-game mod menu.
Install locations vary a lot between games and mods — the bundled readme is the most reliable guide.
