KristianD3 AK-47 Tuning Mod
This is a replacement weapons.ymt file for KristianD3's AK47/AKM module, which adjusts the operational performance of the AKM in various ways. With permission from the author, I share this adjustment for everyone to enjoy.
🔫Main adjustments
**Rate of fire increased**
- The rate of fire is significantly increased but the range remains reasonable
- Close to 600 RPM (rate of fire per minute) after calculation adjustments
- The firing rates of hip-fire and shoulder-fire modes are slightly different but not significant.
**Range greatly increased**
- Range adjustment is the most obvious improvement
- Targets can now be accurately hit within the true effective range
**Ballistic power adjustment**
- Reduced ballistic power of AKM only
- Other weapons still retain the knockdown effect of the original version
- Prevent enemies from being knocked back excessively at high rates of fire
- This parameter may be further fine-tuned in the future

Install & use Install: follow the bundled instructions
- Unzip the archive from playbuff and read the bundled readme / instructions first.
- There is no universal mod manager for this game: some mods replace game files directly, some go into a game-specific Mods folder, and some need a game-specific community loader or tool first — follow the bundled readme.
- Place the files exactly as the readme says; mods with listed dependencies need those installed too.
- Launch the game to confirm it loaded; some games require enabling mods in settings or an in-game mod menu.
Install locations vary a lot between games and mods — the bundled readme is the most reliable guide.
