Keyboard input delay temporary fix script

This is a temporary fix script to solve the keyboard input delay issue when switching windows (Alt+Tab). It automatically launches a benchmark test for your game, and you can simply turn off the test to fix the problem. You need to do this every time you launch the game.

🎮 What is this?

This is a simple script designed specifically for Red Dead Redemption 2. What it does is **automatically launch the game's benchmark**. You may ask, why do this? Because when the game switches to other windows (Alt+Tab), there seems to be a keyboard input delay problem (this problem does not affect mouse operations). Users in the Steam community found that running benchmarks solved the problem. This script automates the process, making it easy to fix every time you launch the game.

⚙️ Installation method

• Download and install ScriptHookRDR2
• Extract the **"WorkaroundFixKeyboardInputLag.asi"** file to the game root directory
• Finish!

🚀 How to use

• **Launch Game**
• After the loading screen ends, the script will automatically **run the benchmark**
• After the benchmark test starts, you will see the "ESC" button prompt in the lower right corner of the screen
• Press the **ESC key** to exit the benchmark

⚠️ IMPORTANT NOTE

**Note:** According to Steam user feedback (see link below), you need to wait approximately 5 seconds after starting the benchmark before exiting.

This issue does not seem to be completely consistent for all users, and some players have reported that pausing the game can also solve the problem.
