John's Deadly Assassin Outfit
🎮 **A carefully restored classic clothing module! **
✨ Module Introduction
This mod perfectly recreates John Marston's iconic "Lethal Assassin" suit from Red Dead Redemption 1 and brings it into the world of Red Dead Redemption 2. It will replace several regular clothing items in the game.
🧥 How to use
To get the closest look to the original, please refer to the last few images in the gallery to choose the correct costume parts.
- **Must-have**: Use the **"John's Gunslinger Suit Ranch Pants"** and your choice of **Black Boots**.
⚠️ IMPORTANT NOTE
- **COMPATIBILITY NOTE**: Since this mod edits and merges models referenced by several other items, you may see minor changes on other traditional vests, stalker caps, and shotgun jackets.
- **Current Status**: This is a **version under development**. The author plans to make some tweaks and improvements in the future, such as fixing minor issues with the coat's buttons.
- **Future Plans**: The author also plans to add a **"faded" variant** to more accurately match the textures of Red Dead Redemption 1.
🙏 Special thanks
The author is particularly grateful to **Eki** for providing the official "Red Dead Redemption 1" textures as reference material. Without his help, many parts of the costume would be much less effective.

💡 **Tips**: Put on this classic assassin outfit and relive the adventure of the original game in the wild west!
Install & use Install: follow the bundled instructions
- Unzip the archive from playbuff and read the bundled readme / instructions first.
- There is no universal mod manager for this game: some mods replace game files directly, some go into a game-specific Mods folder, and some need a game-specific community loader or tool first — follow the bundled readme.
- Place the files exactly as the readme says; mods with listed dependencies need those installed too.
- Launch the game to confirm it loaded; some games require enabling mods in settings or an in-game mod menu.
Install locations vary a lot between games and mods — the bundled readme is the most reliable guide.
