🎮 Module function
This is the John Marston Restoration Project. The purpose of this mod is to improve the experience of playing as John Marston in the epilogue. The mod restores beta models, such as John Marston's head model from pre-release screenshots. New clothing has also been added: clothing tailored for the player model John, as well as clothing taken directly from NPC models. This was intended to separate the John character from Arthur as much as possible.
🛒 How to use
New clothing can be purchased from any black market merchant. After clicking "Buy" a new "Clothing" menu will appear. Once these items are purchased, they will always be equippable in the wardrobe. John's beta costume (with gray NPC texture) now replaces John's costume in the epilogue. Hairstyles can also be purchased at the hairdresser.
⚙️ Installation instructions
Place the MAP_String.gt.2 file into the Moda JMP V3.57 folder, replacing the file.

Install & use Install: follow the bundled instructions
- Unzip the archive from playbuff and read the bundled readme / instructions first.
- There is no universal mod manager for this game: some mods replace game files directly, some go into a game-specific Mods folder, and some need a game-specific community loader or tool first — follow the bundled readme.
- Place the files exactly as the readme says; mods with listed dependencies need those installed too.
- Launch the game to confirm it loaded; some games require enabling mods in settings or an in-game mod menu.
Install locations vary a lot between games and mods — the bundled readme is the most reliable guide.
