JohnMarston - HD Classic Beard
🎯 Module introduction
This mod allows players to make John's stubble look more like the design of Red Dead Redemption 1 in chapters 1-6 and the end of the game. By replacing the original textures with new HD 2K textures based on the original John Marston classic stubble mod.
✨ Main functions
- **COMPATIBLE WITH ALL HAIRSTYLES** - Classic stubble is fully compatible with all hairstyles available to John in the epilogue chapters
- **Seamless Chapter Transitions** - stubble develops naturally between chapters while fixing John's Sisika facial texture issues
- **OPTIONAL GENTLEMEN TEXTURE** - Contains "Gentleman" facial texture as an optional file
🚀Technical improvements
Special thanks to iAbokai for helping DirectX12 users no longer need low-resolution textures. Now DirectX12 can run the classic stubble mod perfectly, enjoying full HD effects without causing the game to crash.
⚙️ Installation requirements
Requires the latest version of Lenny's Mod Loader (lml).
📁 Installation method
Simply put the "lml" folder into the game directory. For the optional "gentleman" file, choose Replace when prompted.

Install & use Install: follow the bundled instructions
- Unzip the archive from playbuff and read the bundled readme / instructions first.
- There is no universal mod manager for this game: some mods replace game files directly, some go into a game-specific Mods folder, and some need a game-specific community loader or tool first — follow the bundled readme.
- Place the files exactly as the readme says; mods with listed dependencies need those installed too.
- Launch the game to confirm it loaded; some games require enabling mods in settings or an in-game mod menu.
Install locations vary a lot between games and mods — the bundled readme is the most reliable guide.
