🎨 **A mod that adds various styles of tattoos to the protagonists Arthur Morgan and John Marston of "Red Dead Redemption 2" to make your outlaws more personalized! **

✨ Tattoo Collection

The module contains multiple versions, providing you with a wealth of choices:

**Torso Tattoo**

  • **v1.0 Mixed Styles**: Blending American traditional, modern, Japanese styles for **Arthur**, and adding a Viking-style chest tattoo. It includes game-appropriate tattoos for his lost love Eliza and son Isaac. He has tattoos on his knuckles, fingers, hands, arms, and front and back torso.
  • **v2.0 Viking Style**: A full range of Norse, Celtic and Viking style tattoos for **John** and **Arthur** (this is true Viking tattooing!). Both men have a tattoo of Viking runes on their abdomens: Arthur's is "Elizabeth Isaac" and John's is "Abigail Jack Marston".
  • **v4.0 - v4.1 Yakuza "Wind"**: Provides Yakuza style/traditional Japanese, Korean tattoos for **John and Arthur**. This version has upgraded Arthur and John's torso textures to 4K resolution.
**⚠️ NOTE**: If you have any mods installed that modify your character's torso, this mod may conflict with it. Additionally, if you have tattoos installed on John, you will be able to see his tattoos in cutscenes and camps even while playing as Arthur.

**Facial Tattoo**

  • **Arthur Face Tattoos 1.0**: Contains text tattoos such as "Redemption", "Stand in a cruel world" (from the game song), "Eliza", as well as a large number of arabesques, thorns, barbed wire, death on the sides of the head, dragon heads covered in roses and other designs. This version has upgraded Arthur's facial textures to 4K.
**⚠️ NOTE**: If you have any mods installed that modify Arthur's face, this section may conflict with them.

**First Person Perspective Tattoo**

To make the first-person experience more unique, I made some artistic recreations of my hand tattoos:

  • **Arthur's first-person tattoo (corresponding to Torso Tattoo 1.0)**: Adapted the first-person hand tattoo to Arthur's 1.0 version of the torso tattoo.
  • **John's first-person Viking tattoo**: Adapted John's Viking tattoo to a first-person hand tattoo.
  • **John and Arthur First Person Yakuza Tattoo**: This version is a **100% match** to the Yakuza style torso tattoo (if you're looking for continuity, this version is for you).

All hand texture files have been upgraded to 4K.

Install & use Install: follow the bundled instructions

  1. Unzip the archive from playbuff and read the bundled readme / instructions first.
  2. There is no universal mod manager for this game: some mods replace game files directly, some go into a game-specific Mods folder, and some need a game-specific community loader or tool first — follow the bundled readme.
  3. Place the files exactly as the readme says; mods with listed dependencies need those installed too.
  4. Launch the game to confirm it loaded; some games require enabling mods in settings or an in-game mod menu.

Install locations vary a lot between games and mods — the bundled readme is the most reliable guide.
