Try to fix the first-person camera view
IronSight
Dear desperadoes 👋
This is my mod that attempts to fix the first person aiming experience in the game.
✨ Module Advantages
- **Standard Field of View**: Provides 105-degree horizontal aiming field of view for vanilla and DLC guns.
- **Realistic Scale**: Manually adjusted the gun position to give it a more realistic gun-holding arm length.
- **Smooth Animation**: Speed up the transition between animations (such as switching from reloading to aiming, switching from holding a gun to aiming, etc.).
- **Hybrid Sights**: Rifles and repeating rifles can now use both scopes and iron sights (default aiming is centered).
- **Sniper Sights**: Sniper rifles can now also use iron sights (requires 1899 Firearms or No Forced Scope mod).
- **🎉 Extra surprise**: Improved player movement and side movement in first person (e.g. reloading while running).
⚠️ Known issues
- **Field of View Adjustment**: Although the FOV can be changed, some guns may be misaligned.
- **Model Penetration**: On some gun models, the player's hands and firearms may have mold penetration.
- **Animation Differences**: The default aiming and machine aim animations are different, so there may be some mold-piercing when firing.
- **Positional Deviation**: Aiming may not be perfectly aligned in certain body postures and angles (such as leaning left or right behind cover).
- **To be fixed**: Issues such as left arm shooting, mounted/vehicle shooting, etc. have not yet been resolved.
🔧 Prerequisites
You need to adjust your default FOV settings. Please download and install the Custom First Person FOV module and set your FOV to 73 vertical (105 horizontal).

Install & use Install: follow the bundled instructions
- Unzip the archive from playbuff and read the bundled readme / instructions first.
- There is no universal mod manager for this game: some mods replace game files directly, some go into a game-specific Mods folder, and some need a game-specific community loader or tool first — follow the bundled readme.
- Place the files exactly as the readme says; mods with listed dependencies need those installed too.
- Launch the game to confirm it loaded; some games require enabling mods in settings or an in-game mod menu.
Install locations vary a lot between games and mods — the bundled readme is the most reliable guide.
