"Allow players to use NPC exclusive scenes"
This is a new mod just released by MaybelleElizabethColter, the guy who made "Cowgirl Revised"
★RDR2 features thousands of immersive scenes that can only be used by NPCs. Things like playing the piano, sitting on a windowsill, leaning against walls and railings, sleeping on a bedroll, playing an instrument, working, watching livestock or simply relaxing in a cool position are all things players cannot do naturally. Well, this mod changes that.
★This mod allows you to use all relevant scenarios unique to NPCs.
★Module details:
- To use the mod, simply go to a location where you can play the scene and a prompt will appear. Once you press the prompt, the scene will trigger.
- If the NPC is already using a scene, the prompt to use the scene will not appear.
- To stop a scene, press one of the movement keys or the Stop prompt.
- All scenes allow you to talk to NPCs and can be interrupted dynamically.
- Arthur/John would smoke a cigarette after you sat down in a chair, roll it up, light it, and start smoking.
- You can sit with other NPCs.
- Once you pick up instruments like the guitar, banjo, and concertina, you can sit down and play them.
- Work items such as buckets, bags, brooms, rakes and sacks can be picked up and used. You can also feed pigs and chickens with collected buckets.
- BONUS: Horses no longer automatically stand up when you approach them while they are lying on the ground.
★Updated to version 1.0.1 on January 9th
☆Added scene/prop list:
- Prepare food/butcher meat at supported locations (Story Camp, Butcher's Creek, and Butcher's Stall)
-Chop wood (at Story Camp and other locations such as Valentine, Emerald Ranch, and other farm locations) as many times as you want (chorework requirement removed)
-Hats brushing (it goes without saying, you need a hat, otherwise the character will just brush into thin air)
-drink wine
-Hammering fences/walls
-Sitting on the ground and whittling wood
- Tilt and check rifles (in Annesburg and other guard locations)
-Cleaning gun (for pictures only, it may cause cleaning sounds to play indefinitely)
-Another scene to sit and relax
-Hands leaning on pillars (Valentine's Day Salon)
-Sit down and read a book
-Lean on the bar
-Crush herbs and make a tonic
-Crates, books, and more sacks as pickup objects
- Plus some improvements:
Now, when you pick up farm items like hay bales, sacks, and boxes, the "drop" prompt will appear immediately and your character will travel to the location where you dropped it (you may still need to move around for a while). The only exceptions are objects that can be used to perform actions, such as brooms, rakes, saddles, and musical instruments.
Added different prompts for scenes that share the same type (e.g. whittling wood while sitting on a chair now has a dedicated prompt instead of the general "sit down" prompt)
Added camera improvements for sleeping and sitting on the ground
★Updated on January 21st, final version
- Fixed grab animation for pickable objects. The object will no longer glitch and the character will actually hold it like an NPC.
-Fixed a bug where the cleaning sound would occasionally play all the time after using the Cleaning Gun scene.
- Added reminder to sit normally and not smoke.
-Changed the scene of players drinking water: Completely removed the prompt of the original drink, so that the bottle never leaves your hand, so that you can perform the scene of drinking while sitting, drinking by leaning on it, or drinking on the ground.
-Enabled wood chopping scene at Butcher Creek.
-Added specific cues for different instrument rhythms.
- Added lie down and sleep scenes to the bed options in the player camp (does not replace the original sleep scene).
-Added gun cleaning, normal sitting, hat brushing and sitting smoking scenes to several seats in the game. Most (available) seats now have 2 or more available tips.

Install & use Install: follow the bundled instructions
- Unzip the archive from playbuff and read the bundled readme / instructions first.
- There is no universal mod manager for this game: some mods replace game files directly, some go into a game-specific Mods folder, and some need a game-specific community loader or tool first — follow the bundled readme.
- Place the files exactly as the readme says; mods with listed dependencies need those installed too.
- Launch the game to confirm it loaded; some games require enabling mods in settings or an in-game mod menu.
Install locations vary a lot between games and mods — the bundled readme is the most reliable guide.
