Immersive mini map
🎮 **Make your Red Dead Redemption 2 experience more immersive! **
This mod is designed to reduce visual distractions on the screen and allow you to focus more on the game world by dynamically controlling the display of the minimap.
✨ Core Functions
By default, the minimap only displays under the following circumstances:
- **While performing tasks** 🎯
- **When there is an active waypoint** 🧭
- **When equipped with non-melee weapons** 🔫
- **During melee combat** 👊
- **When the "Show HUD" button is pressed** (Controller: Down arrow keys; Keyboard: Left Alt key)
⚙️ Highly customizable
You are in total control! Easily set your own preference rules by editing the **`iMinimap.ini`** configuration file.
📦 Installation Guide
Installation is very simple, just a few steps:
- **Required Prerequisites**: Make sure Script Hook RDR2 is installed.
- **Place files**: Place the `iMinimap.asi` and `iMinimap.ini` files into the game root directory (i.e. the folder containing `RDR2.exe`).
- **Configuration Settings**: Open the `iMinimap.ini` file and adjust it to your liking.
🔮 Future Plans
The author also has some cool ideas:
- ✅ ~~Configuration file support~~ (Completed)
- 🐎 Only show player and horse core status bars when needed
- ⚠️ Show minimap when random event icon appears
- 🎨 Change the appearance and position of the map and status bar

Install & use Install: follow the bundled instructions
- Unzip the archive from playbuff and read the bundled readme / instructions first.
- There is no universal mod manager for this game: some mods replace game files directly, some go into a game-specific Mods folder, and some need a game-specific community loader or tool first — follow the bundled readme.
- Place the files exactly as the readme says; mods with listed dependencies need those installed too.
- Launch the game to confirm it loaded; some games require enabling mods in settings or an in-game mod menu.
Install locations vary a lot between games and mods — the bundled readme is the most reliable guide.
