Weapon Icon FIX
🎯 Function introduction
This mod fixes a small but annoying visual bug in Red Dead Redemption 2: three unique weapons showing incorrect icons.
🔧Fix content
- **John's Cartman Revolver** → Originally showing the standard Cartman icon
- **Exotic Shotgun** → Originally used the normal double barrel shotgun icon
- **Exotic Roller Sniper Rifle** → Originally displayed the normal roller sniper rifle icon
📁 Technical details
The fix is to edit three lines of code in the "catalog_sp.ymt" file. This fix is not my original work, credit goes to the players who originally shared the solution. My contribution is to provide the corrected files so that players who don't want or don't know how to edit the files manually can use them directly.
💡 Instructions for use
Just put the corrected files into the game directory, no complicated installation steps required. This fix is fully compatible with the original game and will not affect other mods or game functionality.

Install & use Install: follow the bundled instructions
- Unzip the archive from playbuff and read the bundled readme / instructions first.
- There is no universal mod manager for this game: some mods replace game files directly, some go into a game-specific Mods folder, and some need a game-specific community loader or tool first — follow the bundled readme.
- Place the files exactly as the readme says; mods with listed dependencies need those installed too.
- Launch the game to confirm it loaded; some games require enabling mods in settings or an in-game mod menu.
Install locations vary a lot between games and mods — the bundled readme is the most reliable guide.
