Make hunting more fun and interesting~

▲Installation:

-Make sure ScriptHookRDR2 and ASI Loader are installed

-Extract the zip file and place the HuntingGrounds.asi and HuntingGrounds folders into the game root directory

-Unzip the Chinese version and paste the replacement Lang.dat in the folder HuntingGrounds

▲Function:

◇Dynamic animal size◇

All animals with the same specialty have the same exact dimensions. In the hunting grounds, animals vary in size, making the nature of RDR2 more dynamic.

◇Dynamic animal populations◇

Overhunting in an area can deplete animal populations. If you hunt too many deer in the Heartlands, there will be fewer deer in the area. Animal populations recover over time.

In the photo above, you can see the increase in the HUD, which reflects the animal's weight and the population level of that animal. In this case, the number of animals is relatively large and the population in this area is currently at its maximum level.

◇Blood Trace◇

To make hunting even more immersive, you can now track damaged animals via blood trails without going into Eagle Eye. Both animals and humans bleed from wounds, depending on the severity of their injuries.

◇Bait Point◇

You know that feeling when you place a decoy and then you go off to take cover without knowing where the hell you put it? Using this function, after placing the bait, a light spot will appear on the map for a short time. Of course this and all other features in this mod can be turned off individually if you like an extra challenge.

◇Hunting Contest - New! ◇

This mechanic pits you against random opponents in one-on-one matches against the clock, where you must hunt down as many animals as possible within the time limit of a certain animal that lives in the area.

Each kill will give you points, and when the time limit is reached, the person with more points wins and gets the prize.

How does it work?

You'll notice a new type of blip on the map:

When you get there you will meet a hunter NPC who you can talk to by right clicking to start the match.

You can view the match requirements and place your bets, and the match will begin when you activate the Hunting Match prompt. Then just follow the in-game instructions:

① You may need to walk a little to reach the competition area.

②Then, when it starts, you only need to hunt the specific animals prompted. When the time limit is reached, the person with the most points wins and gets the prize.

③You can get bonus points by getting headshots, hunting large animals, high-quality animals, using bait or fatally damaging the hunted animals.

④On the other hand, if you use Dead Eye to kill your target, you will be punished. Additionally, to level the playing field, you may only walk during the game.

HUD

During the match, you'll see time remaining and score status, and every time you or your opponent gets a kill, you'll see a notification about your score on the right:
