Controls
While holding Hide/Animal (default key E & You can only do this on the hunting caravan spawned in the camp. Doesn't work on other vans.
Known issues
The stuff you stored in the hunting van has not been saved. So when you reload the game or die, you lose what's stored in the van.
No animation is thrown.
The physics of the hide/animal can cause it to collide with the wagon and malfunction. Especially the big birds.
When the wagon is destroyed or unable to continue and you are far away from the camp, you must travel closer to the camp before the wagon can spawn again.
Install
Install the latest Script Hook RDR2, copy both dinput8.dll and ScriptHookRDR2.dll and put them into the root directory of the Red Dead Redemption 2 installation folder.
Install the Hunting Wagon by unzipping Hunting_wagon.asi and placing it in the root of your Red Dead Redemption 2 installation folder.
Install & use Install: follow the bundled instructions
- Unzip the archive from playbuff and read the bundled readme / instructions first.
- There is no universal mod manager for this game: some mods replace game files directly, some go into a game-specific Mods folder, and some need a game-specific community loader or tool first — follow the bundled readme.
- Place the files exactly as the readme says; mods with listed dependencies need those installed too.
- Launch the game to confirm it loaded; some games require enabling mods in settings or an in-game mod menu.
