🌦️Mod Overview
In the original game, rain or temperature had minimal effect on Arthur. But now, with this mod, everything is about to change! The mod adds a new core that essentially represents your "weather resistance", making rain, snow, water, and cold a real threat rather than just a minor inconvenience. In addition to the core, the actual temperature (supports Celsius and Fahrenheit) is also displayed, making it easier for you to track current weather conditions without having to frequently open the HUD.
**Core with temperature widget:**

🧥 New core mechanism
- **Contour Bar**: Represents your protection against moisture and extreme temperatures. The more the garment is worn, the longer the contour strip becomes. In hot areas, the mechanism works the other way around - intuitively, less clothing is better.
- **Core Icon**: The symbol in the middle (sun or snowflake) represents the surrounding temperature conditions taking into account your current attire.
- **White Sun**: Basic value, meaning "your current clothing is most suitable for the current weather".
- **Snowflakes**: Indicates you are feeling cold and should put on better clothes or seek shelter.
- **Colored Sun (Yellow, Orange, Red)**: Indicates the degree of heat. The darker the color, the higher the temperature.
- Snowflakes will also change color to indicate the severity of the cold relative to what you're wearing.
- **Core Drain**: In any precipitation (rain or snow), no matter how well dressed you are, cores will drain! Of course, the right clothing will significantly reduce the rate of depletion. The same is true in water (rivers, lakes, etc.).
- **Final version integration**: The final version binds the core of the module to the original temperature mechanism, which is a major change. Previously the mod core could show you being in good health while the vanilla health core was being depleted, this was because the vanilla took clothing type into account while the mod core did not previously. The final version fixes this, meaning that in colder areas you don't just need a jacket, but a really warm one.

🔥 Core Recovery
- To restore the contour strips, you can go indoors or find a place to warm yourself. Fires, stoves, campfires, etc. all generate actual heat, meaning you can even overheat if you get too close! Resting by a campfire or sitting in a tent strengthens the core, locking it at 100% for a period of time.
- **"Second chance" mechanic**: The final version introduces the possibility to change clothes after encountering bad weather. Previously, if weather conditions became severe and your cores began to deplete, there was no point in wearing appropriate clothing at that point because the cores would be stuck at the value they were at when it started to rain. You now have a chance to change clothing when bad weather starts (core will be recalculated and restored based on your newly equipped clothing, for example, if you were wearing a shirt and now have a coat equipped, core will jump by about 30%). A bit like taking a wet suit of clothes out of a saddle bag. You can only do this once to prevent cheating by constantly switching outfits to avoid core zero.
- If "Second Chance" is used, an exclamation mark will appear next to the core.

⚠️ The consequences of core zeroing
If your core drops to zero, all of your core (health, stamina, etc.) will begin to drain. If you set relevant options …
Install & use Install: follow the bundled instructions
- Unzip the archive from playbuff and read the bundled readme / instructions first.
- There is no universal mod manager for this game: some mods replace game files directly, some go into a game-specific Mods folder, and some need a game-specific community loader or tool first — follow the bundled readme.
- Place the files exactly as the readme says; mods with listed dependencies need those installed too.
- Launch the game to confirm it loaded; some games require enabling mods in settings or an in-game mod menu.
Install locations vary a lot between games and mods — the bundled readme is the most reliable guide.
