horse drinking water
A simple immersion/quality of life mod that allows you to ride to any body of water and command it to drink, thereby filling and enhancing the core values of your trusty companion.
🐎 Feature Highlights
Allow your horse to drink while riding, no need to dismount!
🎮 How to use
- **Easy to use**: Ride your horse to any body of water (lake, stream, river, swamp, etc.), the water is about as deep as your horse's ankles (not too deep, otherwise you will get a prompt), and then whistle.
- **Start Drinking**: Your horse will start drinking while you are still mounted.
- **Stop at any time**: When ready to leave, whistle again and the horses will stop drinking.
- **Significant effect**: Once completed, you and the horse can continue the journey, with the horse's core values filled and enhanced!
⚠️ Notes
- **Cannot dismount**: You will not be able to dismount while your horse is drinking water. **This is not a bug** but an intentional design.
- **Model Wear**: There may be some model wear issues between the horse and the ground or the reins. There is nothing we can do about this, so please understand.
📥 Installation instructions
- **Prerequisites**: **Scripthook** needs to be installed.
- **Installation steps**: Unzip the file, copy and paste `HorseHydration.asi` to your game root directory.

Install & use Install: follow the bundled instructions
- Unzip the archive from playbuff and read the bundled readme / instructions first.
- There is no universal mod manager for this game: some mods replace game files directly, some go into a game-specific Mods folder, and some need a game-specific community loader or tool first — follow the bundled readme.
- Place the files exactly as the readme says; mods with listed dependencies need those installed too.
- Launch the game to confirm it loaded; some games require enabling mods in settings or an in-game mod menu.
Install locations vary a lot between games and mods — the bundled readme is the most reliable guide.
