🐎 **Let your horse experience more realistic survival needs! **

Module Introduction

This mod adds 3 new core states for your horses: **Hungry**, **Thirsty** and **Horse Condition**. You can turn off any core feature in the `.ini` configuration file to completely customize your gaming experience!

🍎 Hungry

The hunger system is the most basic part of the mod. It will ramp down at the rate you set in the `.ini` file. You can replenish hunger by **feeding** your horse** or letting it **graze** on its own.

💧 thirsty

The thirst value will also be gradually reduced based on the settings in the `.ini` file. When your horse stands in a water source (note: you cannot ride on its back), it will automatically drink to quench its thirst.

🐴 Horseshoe

The condition system for horseshoes is slightly different! How quickly it wears out depends on how you use your horse:

• **Galloping**: The fastest loss
• **Trotting**: normal wear and tear
• **Other Actions**: No loss

When the horseshoe condition drops below **50%**, you can clean it by walking up to the horse and pressing the prompt key. We may update the animation of cleaning horseshoes in the future!

⚠️ Punishment mechanism

If the core value drops to zero, your horse will be punished:

• **Hunger or thirst value is zero**: The horse's regular core (such as physical strength, health) will begin to be consumed at an accelerated rate.
• **Horseshoe status is zero**: Your horse will **not be able to run** and will only be able to walk slowly.

📦 Installation method

• Unzip the compressed package.
• Place the following files into the game root directory:
• `horseNeeds.asi`
• `horseNeeds.ini`
• `horseNeeds.dat`
• `scripthook rdr2` (if not installed yet)
