Enhances muzzle smoke and flash effects, making gun marks durable
GunFX
🎯 Module introduction
Due to minor complaints about the lack of representation of gun muzzle/barrel smoke in the game, I decided to make this mod myself to improve the visuals!
✨ Main functions
- **Long-lasting Barrel Smoke**: The smoke lasts longer (depends on the number of bullets fired)
- **Enhanced muzzle effects**: muzzle flash and smoke effects increased by 50%
- **EXTENDED INDOOR EFFECT**: Indoor smoke and air debris from shots last 10x longer
- **Improved bullet mark effect**: bullet impact effect increased by 20%
- **Expanded Effect Range**: The range of all special effects has been increased and can now be seen on the PED
- **Permanent Gun Marks**: Gun marks will remain permanently unless you leave the area
⚠️ Performance Tips
Generating large amounts of traces and air debris in the same area may affect game performance, please use discretion based on your hardware configuration.
🔗 Recommended combination
- Used in conjunction with the 1899 Firearms module, the distinction between black powder and smokeless powder can be achieved

This mod may affect footprints and some bleed effects, if you find anything I missed, please leave feedback in the comments section!

Install & use Install: follow the bundled instructions
- Unzip the archive from playbuff and read the bundled readme / instructions first.
- There is no universal mod manager for this game: some mods replace game files directly, some go into a game-specific Mods folder, and some need a game-specific community loader or tool first — follow the bundled readme.
- Place the files exactly as the readme says; mods with listed dependencies need those installed too.
- Launch the game to confirm it loaded; some games require enabling mods in settings or an in-game mod menu.
Install locations vary a lot between games and mods — the bundled readme is the most reliable guide.
