●Original text of the author’s post:
★Warning
Many bullet hole decals and airborne debris in one area can affect performance
If you want to separate black powder from smokeless ammo, use it with my mod "1899 Guns"
★Due to my dissatisfaction with the fact that guns in the game don't show enough "muzzle/barrel smoke", I decided to make a mod myself. Make it closer to reality and have a stronger sense of substitution.
-Barrel smoke will last longer (depending on how many rounds were fired)
-Muzzle flash and smoke increased by 50%
-Internal smoke and air debris from combustion will last 10 times longer
-The impact effect of bullets is increased by 20%
-The range of all FX has been increased and are visible on the PED
- Gun bullet hole decals are permanent unless you leave the area
I'm not sure, but this may also affect the footprint decals and some of the bleed effects. If you see something I've missed, please let me know in the comments.

Install & use Install: follow the bundled instructions
- Unzip the archive from playbuff and read the bundled readme / instructions first.
- There is no universal mod manager for this game: some mods replace game files directly, some go into a game-specific Mods folder, and some need a game-specific community loader or tool first — follow the bundled readme.
- Place the files exactly as the readme says; mods with listed dependencies need those installed too.
- Launch the game to confirm it loaded; some games require enabling mods in settings or an in-game mod menu.
Install locations vary a lot between games and mods — the bundled readme is the most reliable guide.
