Gang Outposts
🎯Mod Overview
This mod uses Rampage Trainer to add gang outposts across the map, bringing a whole new layer of danger and immersion to Red Dead Redemption 2. Currently contains 9 strongholds (7 roadblocks and 2 hideouts, 3 if you include Guama files).
⚔️ Core functions
Transform RDR2's wilderness into hostile territory. Gang Outposts introduce fully functional, game-appropriate enemy camps that dynamically generate on the map. Ambush, clear or avoid - it's up to you how to deal with them.
These hostile camps are scattered across the map and occupied by rival gangs - including the O'Driscolls, Lemoyne Raiders, Del Lobos, and more.
🎁 Main features
- **Lootable Rewards**: Treasure chests, hidden stashes and rare items can be found after clearing outposts
- **Immersive Design**: Each outpost is handcrafted with attention to gameplay context and realism to feel like it belongs in this world
- **Wide Compatibility**: Compatible with most mods, designed to be flexible and work with both main RDR2 gameplay and overhaul mods
🛡️Gang behavior
Gang members are passive (only fire when provoked) so you don't have to engage them if you don't want to fight.

⚠️ Known issues

Install & use Install: follow the bundled instructions
- Unzip the archive from playbuff and read the bundled readme / instructions first.
- There is no universal mod manager for this game: some mods replace game files directly, some go into a game-specific Mods folder, and some need a game-specific community loader or tool first — follow the bundled readme.
- Place the files exactly as the readme says; mods with listed dependencies need those installed too.
- Launch the game to confirm it loaded; some games require enabling mods in settings or an in-game mod menu.
Install locations vary a lot between games and mods — the bundled readme is the most reliable guide.
