About this mod Machine translation
This mod enables your character to blink (teleport) to where you are looking. A quick and easy way to get around!
Unlike many other teleportation mods (there aren't many other teleportation mods for RDR2 right now, but also unlike other teleportation mods for GTA5, Fallout4, or TES Skyrim), this mod will not let you go through a roof when you teleport to it from underneath it.
need:
ScripthookDRD2 by Alexander Blade (not the one above):
Community ScripthookRDR2.NET:
All other procedures required for the above two procedures.
Install:
Place "HCL_Superpower_05.cs" into the /scripts/ folder of your RDR2 installation folder (if you have successfully installed "Community ScripthookRDR2.NET", you should have this folder, otherwise, you can create one.)
How to send:
When you're not riding a horse or vehicle, press X and your character will flash to where you are looking. If you hold down the X key, a small purple box will appear in the center of the screen to help you select a target location, then release the X key to flash to that location.
You can also teleport into the air. To teleport into the air, look into the air and press X. Blinking also has a maximum range. If your target location is outside this range, you will also blink. While you hold X, a green bar will appear on the right side of the screen indicating the maximum blink range. While holding X, if you want to blink into the air, hold F12 to reduce the maximum blink range. Hold F11 to increase the range.
How to customize the mod:
Open the "HCL_Superpower_05.cs" file with Notepad. All custom content is located in the area marked "// ////////////////////////". After making each setting, follow the instructions to make changes.
Install & use Install: follow the bundled instructions
- Unzip the archive from playbuff and read the bundled readme / instructions first.
- There is no universal mod manager for this game: some mods replace game files directly, some go into a game-specific Mods folder, and some need a game-specific community loader or tool first — follow the bundled readme.
- Place the files exactly as the readme says; mods with listed dependencies need those installed too.
- Launch the game to confirm it loaded; some games require enabling mods in settings or an in-game mod menu.
Install locations vary a lot between games and mods — the bundled readme is the most reliable guide.
