Fisherman

🎣 Function introduction

Have you ever found it annoying to have to store large fish on horseback or cook it right after you catch it? Me too! Because when you can put small/medium sized fish in a satchel or skin an animal, this setting seems completely unrealistic. Therefore, I added a fish handling mechanism to make fishing for large fish more enjoyable.

⚙️ How to use

  • After installing the mod, just click the "Handle" prompt when picking up a large fish
  • After clicking, an animation scene will start
  • After completion, the corresponding fish meat will appear in your backpack supplies, and the bloody skeleton of the fish will be left under your feet.
  • When you want to cook it, cook it like any other fish

📝 Notes

  • Tested on all large fish (including legendary fish)
  • It is not recommended to use this feature on large legendary fish as it will make it impossible to complete the side quest of mailing them
  • During the animation process, some characters and fish may cross the model, and the fish may appear slightly in front or behind.
  • This is a personally made module. The author is satisfied with its effect and decided to share it with everyone.

Install & use Install: follow the bundled instructions

  1. Unzip the archive from playbuff and read the bundled readme / instructions first.
  2. There is no universal mod manager for this game: some mods replace game files directly, some go into a game-specific Mods folder, and some need a game-specific community loader or tool first — follow the bundled readme.
  3. Place the files exactly as the readme says; mods with listed dependencies need those installed too.
  4. Launch the game to confirm it loaded; some games require enabling mods in settings or an in-game mod menu.

Install locations vary a lot between games and mods — the bundled readme is the most reliable guide.
