Extended Player Animations

🎮 **Extended Player Animation** (formerly known as "Extended John Marston Animation") is a module dedicated to repairing/improving/adding various in-game animation-related content, aiming to improve the player's visual experience.

🌟 Module development history

Originally the sole purpose of this mod was to fix and improve John Marston's in-game animations, making his moveset as separate and unique as possible from Arthur's. But as development progressed, there was less and less stuff to fix in John's animation, and I started adding and fixing more stuff than was originally intended.

This mod now brings fixes and improvements to **all content** and **all characters** (animation-wise) in the game, not only improving the experience when playing as Arthur or John, but also reducing frustration for players playing as NPCs, allowing them to use unique NPC animations without running into too many issues, giving role players more freedom.

While this mod still favors John (for good reason), it now includes a lot of cool extra content!

Install & use Install: follow the bundled instructions

  1. Unzip the archive from playbuff and read the bundled readme / instructions first.
  2. There is no universal mod manager for this game: some mods replace game files directly, some go into a game-specific Mods folder, and some need a game-specific community loader or tool first — follow the bundled readme.
  3. Place the files exactly as the readme says; mods with listed dependencies need those installed too.
  4. Launch the game to confirm it loaded; some games require enabling mods in settings or an in-game mod menu.

Install locations vary a lot between games and mods — the bundled readme is the most reliable guide.
