This mod brings the Sony DualSense 5 controller’s adaptive triggers and other controller features into the world of Red Dead Redemption 2.

🛠️ Installation Guide

• **Download and install AB's ScripthookRDR2**:
• Visit:
• **Make sure you have an asi loader**:
• It usually comes with Scripthook.
• **Copy files**:
• Copy the `DualSense.asi` file and `DualSense` folder to the root directory of the game.

🚀 Running steps

• Start the game.
• Run the `controller-service.exe` file in the `DualSense` folder.
• *Yes, you need to run it every time. I know it's not ideal, but that's how it works for now. *

✨ Function Overview

• **DualSense 5 Adaptive Trigger**: Feel the unique trigger resistance of different weapons!
• **Weapon Exclusive Effect**: Provides different trigger feedback based on the type of weapon you are equipped with (manual firearms, projectiles, Gatling/Maxine machine guns, cannons, etc.).
• **Weapon status impact**: The wear and tear of the weapon will affect the tightness of the trigger, full of details!
• **LED Status Indication**: The LED lights on the handle will show your health and stamina at a glance.
• **Controllable Settings**: Provides adjustable options.

⚠️ Known issues

• **Audio Output Issue**: If your headphones are plugged into the controller while the mod is running, the controller's audio output may not work.
• *Solution*: Plug the headphones directly into your computer.
• **Vibration Function Missing**: Unfortunately, the controller's vibration function does not currently work.
• **Service program stuck**: If the `controller-service.exe` window is stuck at "Waiting for input file":
• *Make sure the game folder is not "read only". *
• **Wired Connection Recommendation**: You may need to connect the controller via a data cable for the module to work properly.
• **Trigger Noise**: The controller's trigger may sometimes make a clicky sound.
