🎮 Module introduction
The original name of this mod is "Drown NPCs", which has now been renamed **Drown NPCs** and has been completely reworked. This feature was originally left by Rockstar Games in an unfinished state. I fixed the issues and made improvements, but there are still some minor bugs.
⚡ How to use
When you grappling an NPC near a water tank, a "drowning" prompt will appear. Press the corresponding button to start the drowning action.
🎯 Control instructions
- **TAB/LB/LT** = Start drowning action
- **Hold /E/△/▢** = Continuous drowning
- **F/□/×** = quick dip and release
- **R/□/×** = quick dip and release
✨ Main functions
- 💧 Display drowning reminder near water tank
- 🌍 Available in all sinks found around the world
- 🔄 You can start the action from both sides of the sink
- 💦 Added water splash effect and drowning sound effect
- 😨 Releasing an enemy will put them into a terror state
⚠️ Known issues
- 🎬 Depending on the timing of pressing the button, the position may not look right
- 🎞️ The entrance animation left by Rockstar was broken, so a custom animation was used
- 👀 If starting a sink action without pressing the button, the player may look in other directions (fixed after pressing the action button)

Install & use Install: follow the bundled instructions
- Unzip the archive from playbuff and read the bundled readme / instructions first.
- There is no universal mod manager for this game: some mods replace game files directly, some go into a game-specific Mods folder, and some need a game-specific community loader or tool first — follow the bundled readme.
- Place the files exactly as the readme says; mods with listed dependencies need those installed too.
- Launch the game to confirm it loaded; some games require enabling mods in settings or an in-game mod menu.
Install locations vary a lot between games and mods — the bundled readme is the most reliable guide.
