Custom train configuration
🚂 Features
This mod restores some deleted or rarely used train cars to free-roaming passenger trains by editing the train configuration files, including:
- **Bar Car** - Enjoy a glass of wine on the go
- **Sleeper Car** - Comfortable resting space during long journeys
- **Observation Car** (Prequel story only) - Use the model from the prologue train heist mission, located at the rear of the train
🎮 Instructions for use
**Installation method:**
Just drag and drop the "CustomTrainConfig" folder into your lml folder and the mod loader will do the rest automatically
⚡ Compatibility Notes
Since this is the first mod to implement such functionality in Red Dead Redemption 2, there aren't expected to be too many compatibility issues. If you find any conflicts, please feel free to report back!
💡 Developer Support
Other mod authors are welcome to conduct secondary development based on this module or use it in their own works! When I first started modding, I often drew on the work of my predecessors to make mods for personal use, so if you'd like to use this as a basis for your own custom train configuration, feel free to use that!

Install & use Install: follow the bundled instructions
- Unzip the archive from playbuff and read the bundled readme / instructions first.
- There is no universal mod manager for this game: some mods replace game files directly, some go into a game-specific Mods folder, and some need a game-specific community loader or tool first — follow the bundled readme.
- Place the files exactly as the readme says; mods with listed dependencies need those installed too.
- Launch the game to confirm it loaded; some games require enabling mods in settings or an in-game mod menu.
Install locations vary a lot between games and mods — the bundled readme is the most reliable guide.
