Cruor
🩸 Module introduction
I made this mod to improve the blood effects in the game to my liking, taking inspiration from many movies, especially the works of Quentin Tarantino. But like my other mods, it also contains elements of realism, which is why I worked on some real life blood splatter effects. Real life references slightly influenced me in making this mod, but like I said, it's all down to personal preference.
✨ Major improvements
- **Enhanced Blood Splatter Fog**: Blood splatter effects can be seen from longer distances, inspired by Quentin Taranti
- **More Blood Effects**: Added more blood effects overall
- **Realistic Blood Color**: Blood color gradients from bright red to slightly darker red, giving the appearance of oxygenated blood right after it leaves the body
- **Large Blood Drop Scattering**: Large droplets of blood will be scattered around the body
- **IMPROVED BLOOD TEXTURES**: Inspired by real life, but mostly my style preference
- **Enhanced bullet hole effects** (coming soon!)
- **Enlarged blood pool**: The size of the blood pool is both beautiful and realistic

💡 Notes
This mod was originally made for myself, but I decided to share it with everyone. Suggestions are less likely to be adopted.

Install & use Install: follow the bundled instructions
- Unzip the archive from playbuff and read the bundled readme / instructions first.
- There is no universal mod manager for this game: some mods replace game files directly, some go into a game-specific Mods folder, and some need a game-specific community loader or tool first — follow the bundled readme.
- Place the files exactly as the readme says; mods with listed dependencies need those installed too.
- Launch the game to confirm it loaded; some games require enabling mods in settings or an in-game mod menu.
Install locations vary a lot between games and mods — the bundled readme is the most reliable guide.
