Install
Download the RAGE plugin hook for RDR2
Extract the contents of RPH into your game directory, where RDR2.exe is
Extract the contents of the mod into the game directory (the C# plugin should be in the same directory as RDR2.exe)
Start RDR2
Run RAGEPluginHook.exe from the game directory
If the mod loads successfully, you will see a notification in the upper left corner of the game.
You can press the F2 key to turn the mod on and off.
Unfortunately, the RAGE plugin hook (YET) is not compatible with other script hooks.
In order for the hook to work properly, make sure overlays such as FRAPS and RivaTuner are disabled.
Updating
To update the mod, overwrite HardcoreDiff.dll in C# Plugins.
To update the RAGE plugin hook, select the Update option next to the download button on the website and drag the content into the game directory.
Install & use Install: follow the bundled instructions
- Unzip the archive from playbuff and read the bundled readme / instructions first.
- There is no universal mod manager for this game: some mods replace game files directly, some go into a game-specific Mods folder, and some need a game-specific community loader or tool first — follow the bundled readme.
- Place the files exactly as the readme says; mods with listed dependencies need those installed too.
- Launch the game to confirm it loaded; some games require enabling mods in settings or an in-game mod menu.
Install locations vary a lot between games and mods — the bundled readme is the most reliable guide.
