Consistent time flow rate and custom time ratio
🎮 **Have you ever wondered why your evening poker game always ends up inexplicably until dawn? **Okay, you might have a bit of a gambling addiction. But other than that...

✨ Module function
- **Constant Time Flow**: There was a hidden mechanic in the original game that caused time to pass at different speeds at different times of the day. This mod removes this variable, allowing time to pass at a constant rate throughout the day.
- **Customize day length**: You can modify how long a day should last in the `.ini` configuration file.
- **Finely adjust hourly length**: You can even fine-tune the length of each hour of the day while maintaining a **consistent** flow of time (except for your own modifications).
- **Hotkey Switch Mode**: Use hotkeys to switch between **Normal**, **Forced** and **Disabled** modes. (Set hotkeys in `.ini` file, default key: `Insert`)
- **Normal Mode**: Mods are automatically disabled during missions.
- **Forced Mode**: Mods **will not** be automatically disabled during missions.
- **Disabled Mode**: Resets time scale to vanilla values and disables mods.
- **Dual time scale presets**: You can set two different time scales in `.ini` and switch between them using hotkeys. (Default switch key: `Delete`)
- **Optional Travel Mode**: The speed at which time passes changes based on the player character's movement speed. This will make time pass more slowly when you're crafting, browsing the store, playing mini-games... but when you're traveling around the map, time will pass faster, making you feel like you're covering greater distances.
- This feature is **off by default**, you can enable and customize it in `.ini`.

⚠️ Known issues
(Mods can be temporarily disabled using hotkeys to avoid these issues)
- **Mission Compatibility**:
*Mods will ruin **Shaun's Welcome Party at Horseshoe Heights**. Please be sure to disable mods (by default pressing the `Insert` key) before playing the mission **"The Last Will Be First"** and rescuing Sean.
- An issue may occur during the mission **"Pouring Oil Part 4"** which requires you to drive a carriage to a target within a time limit, changing the time scale may shorten the time limit.
- Using mods in **Force Mode** (remaining enabled during the mission) may cause issues during the mission.
- **100% COMPLETION**: Watching a show or going to the theater will not register in the 100% completion menu. **Mary Linton appointments are still available**.

📝 Instructions for use
- **Default Time Scale**: The default time scale has been increased compared to the original game, as a constant flow of time not only means longer nights, but also shorter days... The default should give you the same **day length** as the original game, but with longer nights (obviously resulting in a slightly longer full day-to-night cycle, around 56 minutes, compared to 48 minutes in the original game).
- **MOD COMPATIBILITY**: If you are using another mod to change the length of the day, this mod will most likely **not** work with it.
---
🔧 Installation and requirements
- **Install the Mod**: Download `ConsistentTimeflow.rar`, unzip it and put the file into your "Red Dead Redemption 2" game folder.
- **Prerequisites**: You need to install **Script Hook** made by **Alexander Blade**.
---
💡 **Tips**: Using this module allows you to better plan activities in the game, say goodbye to fast and slow time, and enjoy a more realistic and controllable pace of life in the West!
Install & use Install: follow the bundled instructions
- Unzip the archive from playbuff and read the bundled readme / instructions first.
- There is no universal mod manager for this game: some mods replace game files directly, some go into a game-specific Mods folder, and some need a game-specific community loader or tool first — follow the bundled readme.
- Place the files exactly as the readme says; mods with listed dependencies need those installed too.
- Launch the game to confirm it loaded; some games require enabling mods in settings or an in-game mod menu.
Install locations vary a lot between games and mods — the bundled readme is the most reliable guide.
