🎮 Module Introduction
This is a simple mod that allows you to play an emote via command using hotkeys. Only one emoticon can be used at a time. If you want to use a different emoticon, you can replace the emote in the installed `EmoteOnCommand.ini` file. Make sure there is nothing in the file other than the emoticon you want to use. Emotes can be changed in-game by switching windows and modifying the .ini file.
---
📥 Installation Guide
- **Install pre-tools**: First install Alexander Blade's ScriptHookRDR2.
- **Place files**: Extract the two files `EmoteOnCommand.asi` and `EmoteOnCommand.ini` to the root directory of your "Red Dead Redemption 2" game.
- **Done**! The installation is complete and you can start using it.
---
🎯 How to use
**Keyboard operation**
Press the **`~`** key (the key next to the number 1) to play the emoticon.
💡 **Tip**: You can change the keyboard keys by editing the `EmoteOnCommand.ini` file, which contains more information.
**Handle operation**
Press **X (Xbox) / □ (PlayStation)** + **D-Pad Down** to play the emote.

Install & use Install: follow the bundled instructions
- Unzip the archive from playbuff and read the bundled readme / instructions first.
- There is no universal mod manager for this game: some mods replace game files directly, some go into a game-specific Mods folder, and some need a game-specific community loader or tool first — follow the bundled readme.
- Place the files exactly as the readme says; mods with listed dependencies need those installed too.
- Launch the game to confirm it loaded; some games require enabling mods in settings or an in-game mod menu.
Install locations vary a lot between games and mods — the bundled readme is the most reliable guide.
