✨ Module Introduction
This mod aims to restore the appearance of John Marston's equipment in "Red Dead Redemption 2" to the same appearance as in the original "Red Dead Redemption" in 2010, bringing a more authentic nostalgic experience!
---
📦 Installation Guide
- Open the folder corresponding to the file you want to install.
- Drag the **`lml`** folder to your "Red Dead Redemption 2" game root directory.
- **OPTIONAL STEP**: If you want John's new bandolier to display the correct name (instead of "Upgraded Bandolier"), you can drag the "Bandop Name Replacement File" into your LML folder.
⚠️ **IMPORTANT**: Before reporting in the comments that retexturing is not working, please make sure your **Lenny's Mod Loader (LML)** is installed and running correctly!

🛠️ Retextured item list
This mod reworks the textures of the following items:
- **Arthur's Holster**
- **John's Pistol Belt**
- **John's Bandolier**
- **Upgraded bullet belt**
- **Tires**
- **John's Gloves**
- **Rifle Sling**
---
❓ FAQ
**Q: Why did you remake the texture of Arthur's holster instead of directly replacing John's holster with a model and then remake it? **
**A:** Because Arthur's holster model is part of the merged file, we cannot do model replacement without making a dedicated `shop_items` file. And creating such a file for a single holster is really overkill!

I hope you like this return to classic equipment appearance mod! 🤠
Install & use Install: follow the bundled instructions
- Unzip the archive from playbuff and read the bundled readme / instructions first.
- There is no universal mod manager for this game: some mods replace game files directly, some go into a game-specific Mods folder, and some need a game-specific community loader or tool first — follow the bundled readme.
- Place the files exactly as the readme says; mods with listed dependencies need those installed too.
- Launch the game to confirm it loaded; some games require enabling mods in settings or an in-game mod menu.
Install locations vary a lot between games and mods — the bundled readme is the most reliable guide.
