🛠️ Installation instructions
- **Download ReShade** – Go to reshade.me to download.
- **Run the installation file** and select the game to install.
- You need to select the "main" program file in the root directory - `RDR2.exe`.
- **Select Rendering API** – DirectX 10/11/12 or Vulkan – Please select according to the in-game settings.
- **Select the effects you want to install** – Click "Next" and then "Finish".
- **Unzip the zip** and place the files into the game folder – the same directory where you selected `RDR2.exe`.
- **Run the game**.
- **Press the "Home" button**, skip the tutorial and select the preset - `deblur.ini`.
- *Tip*: If you open the SocialClub overlay when you press the "Home" key, open `ReShade.ini` with any text editor and change `KeyMenu=36,0,0` to `KeyMenu=113,0,1` - then press "Shift+F2".

💡 Additional information and tips
- **ReShade version**: This preset is based on version 6.2.0, but you can try other versions because the main effects file (.fx) is included in the zip package.
- **Main Preset Effect**: I used a combination of `LumaSharpen`, `Tonemap`, `Vibrance`.
- **Additional Effects**: The zip package also contains additional effects (such as `AMD CAS`, `Curves`, `DPX`, `LiftGammaGain`, etc.), which are saved at the top of the list so that you can customize the image according to your needs. Many of these effects have been fine-tuned and ready for you to use. But please note that since I made the adjustments in 1-2 games, the final image quality may not be as good in other games. The main presets, on the other hand, can be adapted to any game without modification (even across different monitors, resolutions and color settings).
- **Effect Selection Suggestions**: For example, in some games/scenarios, `Curves` may have better effects than `Tonemap`; some players may not like the algorithm of `LumaSharpen`, then you can try `AMD CAS`, and the same applies to other effects.
- **API selection questions**: If you are not sure which API to choose when installing ReShade in other games, you can check pcgamingwiki or use RTSS (RivaTuner Statistics Server) in the game to check.

Install & use Install: follow the bundled instructions
- Unzip the archive from playbuff and read the bundled readme / instructions first.
- There is no universal mod manager for this game: some mods replace game files directly, some go into a game-specific Mods folder, and some need a game-specific community loader or tool first — follow the bundled readme.
- Place the files exactly as the readme says; mods with listed dependencies need those installed too.
- Launch the game to confirm it loaded; some games require enabling mods in settings or an in-game mod menu.
Install locations vary a lot between games and mods — the bundled readme is the most reliable guide.
