Cinematic NPC accuracy
🎬 **Make the gunfight experience more cinematic! ** This mod completely changes the combat behavior of NPCs in Red Dead Redemption 2, so that you will no longer get shot as frequently in gunfights.
🎯 Accuracy adjustment
- **Reduced shooting accuracy** for all NPCs: including gang members, law enforcement officers, Pinkerton detectives and random NPCs
- **Differentiated Settings**: Gangs and law enforcement officers are more accurate than ordinary NPCs
- **Main File Version**: Enemy accuracy is about 25-70
- **Low Accuracy Version**: Enemy accuracy is about 15-50
🤖 Intelligent combat behavior
NPCs are now more intelligent and patient:
- 🧠 **Tactical Movement**: Some NPCs will use bunkers to move away from the target while other members approach the target.
- 🔫 **Reasonable Weapon Use**: Choose the appropriate weapon based on the distance to the player
- 👥 **Companion Enhancements**: Van der Linde gang members and allies are now able to hit targets effectively, making them really useful in gunfights and missions
⚙️ Installation instructions
- Place the "Cinematic Ped Accuracy" folder into the LML module loader
- If using the Ped Damage Overhaul module, please set: `NPCAccuracyThreshold = 0`
⚠️ Notes
- ❌ **Not compatible** with any mod that modifies "combatbehaviour" and "pedaccuracy" files
- 🎮 **Script Limitation**: NPCs in certain missions (such as the Gatling gun enemy in Fort Mercer) have perfect accuracy set by the script and cannot be modified
- 🎯 **Kill Restrictions**: Some mission enemies can only be killed by players, and companions will not cause damage even if they hit.
💡 **Tip**: Enemies in Thieves' Landing can only be killed by players. This is a limitation set by the game itself.

*Experience smoother, cinematic gunplay that makes every firefight feel like a Hollywood blockbuster! *
Install & use Install: follow the bundled instructions
- Unzip the archive from playbuff and read the bundled readme / instructions first.
- There is no universal mod manager for this game: some mods replace game files directly, some go into a game-specific Mods folder, and some need a game-specific community loader or tool first — follow the bundled readme.
- Place the files exactly as the readme says; mods with listed dependencies need those installed too.
- Launch the game to confirm it loaded; some games require enabling mods in settings or an in-game mod menu.
Install locations vary a lot between games and mods — the bundled readme is the most reliable guide.
