🎮 Module introduction

Hello everyone! Like most players, I love the replayability of Red Dead Redemption 2, but I don't enjoy starting from the first chapter or hunting around for materials to upgrade my backpack. Also I was stubborn and didn't want a save file that had already completed Chapter 2, so I made my own!

📦 Archived content

In the process of making this save, I discovered that it is actually impossible to obtain the Eastern Legends Backpack without completing the two quests [American Rest] and [Lending and Other Sins]. So instead of completing these quests, I collected all the materials I needed to upgrade my backpack, including:

• ✅ All perfect furs
• ✅ Crafted 5 items at the Scout Campfire
• ✅ Donated 5 animal carcasses to Pearson
• ✅ Donated $50 to camp
• ✅ Contributed 3 valuable items in the camp
• ✅ Provided enough funds for the camp to upgrade the required carriages and purchase leather tool kits

You only need to complete those two tasks, purchase the leather tool bag and upgrade the corresponding carriage, and then you can directly get the Eastern Legend Backpack!

🌟 Archive Features

To keep the save progress as minimal as possible, I just did the thing of collecting all the pelts needed to upgrade my backpack:

• 🚫 Avoided all stranger tasks
• 🚫 No random encounter events triggered
• 🚫 No story missions to advance
• 📚 Only researched the White-tailed Deer (researched in the hunting mission in Chapter 1) and the Mahogany Tennessee Walker (obtained in Chapter 1)
• 🐎 Completed Rider Challenge 1 (kill 5 rabbits immediately)
• 🦌 Completed Hunter Challenge 1 (requires 7 deerskins)

This is an honorable gameplay save. No one was killed in the first chapter, and no dishonorable things were done in the process of collecting pelts.

🐎 Extra surprise

While collecting pelts, I was lucky enough to meet a group of bounty hunters, one of whom rode a silver-tailed buckskin American Standardbred. I couldn't bear to miss the horse, so I stole it and ran away to avoid any further interactions with the random encounters.

Therefore, the archive offers two options:

• Mahogany Tennessee Walking Horse only
• Own both a Mahogany Tennessee Walking Horse and a Silvertail American Standardbred (both tamed and at camp)

⚡ Installation instructions

• Download the module file
• Find your save folder: Documents > Rockstar Games > Red Dead Redemption 2 > Profiles > 95CD83A8
• Move the downloaded files to this folder
• The game shows that the completion level is 8.0% and the mission is "Go East"
