Beechers Hope Expansion
🏡 Ranch extension function
Have you ever wondered why Beecher's Hope is so streamlined compared to other gang camps in terms of mechanics and interactions? Maybe not... but this mod expands John's Ranch to have (almost) all the mechanics of Camp in Story Mode!

📊 Camp interface
When visiting Beecher's Hope, players can now see cash in the upper left corner, John's family funds, and the 3 stats in the regular camp (food, ammo, and medicine). 3 icons show the inventory of the corresponding items.
💰 Funding and Donations
As mentioned above, Beecher's Hope now has its own fund, which acts as a gang savings, allowing you to buy supplies for other stats and purchase various upgrades for John's home.
To increase the available family funds, John can donate items or his own cash via the cash box (just like in camp!). Alternatively, after you complete all your chores and sell your items, in addition to the $8 you received, you will have an additional $32 in your household budget. This amount may be higher when purchasing water tower or farm expansion upgrades. While John was away, Jack, Abigail and their uncle donated funds sporadically.
📖 Simple ledger
Since porting the original ledger proved *slightly* challenging, I decided to go with a simplified version, placed in John's diary. You can use it to replenish pasture supplies.
🍖Family Food
In addition to taking charge of what's on the kitchen food shelves, you can increase your supply by donating food via the **Slaughter Table** in the shed. Both of these values will affect the outcome of the dinner Abigail makes (similar to Pearson's stew!), so make sure to keep it high. If well supplied, Abigail's dinner will restore more and may even strengthen certain cores.
You can donate animals to the slaughter table and have your uncle prepare them for Abigail. Starting with update 0.6, there is a true Pearson style butchery menu! It works very similarly to the one in Story Camp, but you can only donate supplies, not sell skins and bodies.
💊 Household Medicines & Ammo
These are almost replicas of those found in the camp. They allow John and his family to obtain a variety of goods at home at higher prices than in stores. Shelves containing these items are marked on the map, and the icons change depending on how much of the corresponding supply remains.
⚠️ Installation instructions
Unzip the archive and place ranch.asi, ranch.dat, and scripthook rdr2 into the game folder.
If you are using RGL (Rockstar Games Launcher version of the game), please launch RGL and RDR2 as administrator, otherwise the game will not be able to save/load any data.
🐛 Known issues
Sometimes after installation the home funds may show up as a very high number, to reset just hold down the 2, 3 and 4 keys on your keyboard.

**NOTE**: Not all upgrades are currently saved, just for testing purposes only. The bathtub icon is a placeholder, but I'm thinking of adding it.
Install & use Install: follow the bundled instructions
- Unzip the archive from playbuff and read the bundled readme / instructions first.
- There is no universal mod manager for this game: some mods replace game files directly, some go into a game-specific Mods folder, and some need a game-specific community loader or tool first — follow the bundled readme.
- Place the files exactly as the readme says; mods with listed dependencies need those installed too.
- Launch the game to confirm it loaded; some games require enabling mods in settings or an in-game mod menu.
Install locations vary a lot between games and mods — the bundled readme is the most reliable guide.
