Realistic Native American Horses
🎉 Update 1.1
**Wild Horse Overhaul Pack 1** (located in the optional files area). I created some custom coat colors for my personal native horse breeds to replace the wild horses found in the game. Because finding Arabian and Andalusian horses in the wilderness makes no sense to me. The status and name have also been changed. I won't go into too much detail or show off the new coat colors, I'd rather you discover them yourself in the game. Have fun and let me know if you find any issues.
It replaces the following horses:
- white arabian horse
- Red chestnut Arabian horse
- Tiger stripe bay color mustang
- Pearlescent Andalusian Horse
- White Splash American Pinto
- Less dappled Appaloosa
- Twisted Chestnut Arabian Horse

⚙️ Installation Guide
**1** - Download and install the required mods.
**Independent version installation**
**A** - After properly installing **Lenny's Mod Loader** in your RDR2 home directory (which is where the `.exe` file is, usually a path like `Program Files/Rockstar Games/Red Dead Redemption 2`), create a folder called `stream` inside the `lml` folder and put my `.ymt` file into it.
**Optional integration package version installation**
**B** - Download and extract **all** files to your RDR2 home directory (where the `.exe` files are located).
**C** - If you are using one of my modpacks and want to install another one while retaining status, names, etc., you will need to manually copy-paste the new lines into your `rdr2-translator.xml` file (this contains the description and name) and `pedattributes.ymt` file (this contains the status). In the future I will merge it into a big modpack to completely overhaul the game, but for now you'll have to do it yourself. If you don't do this, you will overwrite and retain only the status and name of one of the packages. If you want to do it, please refer to bolju's mod. If not, just choose the state and name you want to prioritize, install everything, overwrite the files, and wait for my big overhaul modpack.
**Now you are ready to start the game, enjoy! ** 🎮

🔧 Advanced customization tips
(If you wish, you can change the filename to replace any other horse. You can see how each horse should be named here: RDR2 Pedestrian Database. Type in and search for `a_c_horse`. You can also look for `a_c_horse` in the file, where `x` is a number, and modify it to make the horse larger or smaller.)

Install & use Install: follow the bundled instructions
- Unzip the archive from playbuff and read the bundled readme / instructions first.
- There is no universal mod manager for this game: some mods replace game files directly, some go into a game-specific Mods folder, and some need a game-specific community loader or tool first — follow the bundled readme.
- Place the files exactly as the readme says; mods with listed dependencies need those installed too.
- Launch the game to confirm it loaded; some games require enabling mods in settings or an in-game mod menu.
Install locations vary a lot between games and mods — the bundled readme is the most reliable guide.
