artillery system
🎯 Module function
This script allows NPCs to automatically use four different types of artillery in the game! It can support up to 24 artillery operations at the same time, adding more tactical options to your gaming experience.
📏 Intelligent detection mechanism
Each artillery piece is equipped with an 8-meter range intelligent detection system:
- When the NPC is in combat and within a range of 8 meters, the artillery will be automatically operated
- The detection function will be automatically turned off after the artillery is used
- When the operating NPC dies, the detection system will be automatically reactivated
- Only NPCs in combat status can operate artillery
⚔️ Combat prerequisites
There is an important prerequisite for NPC to operate artillery: **Must be in combat status**! NPCs in a non-combat state will not be able to use these artillery devices, ensuring the balance and rationality of the game.
🎮 Usage suggestions
It is recommended to deploy these artillery pieces in scenarios that require increased defensive or offensive power:
- Camp defense
- Fortress Guard
- Large-scale battle scenes
- Special mission levels
This mod adds a more realistic combat experience to the game, allowing NPCs to make more intelligent use of weapon resources in the environment!
Install & use Install: follow the bundled instructions
- Unzip the archive from playbuff and read the bundled readme / instructions first.
- There is no universal mod manager for this game: some mods replace game files directly, some go into a game-specific Mods folder, and some need a game-specific community loader or tool first — follow the bundled readme.
- Place the files exactly as the readme says; mods with listed dependencies need those installed too.
- Launch the game to confirm it loaded; some games require enabling mods in settings or an in-game mod menu.
Install locations vary a lot between games and mods — the bundled readme is the most reliable guide.
