Arthur's Classic Hat
If you're like me, you might think that scene at the end of Chapter 6 would make more sense if the hat Arthur gave John was his famous hat from the first game. 🎩 This mod is designed to realize this idea!
✨ Module function
- **HAT REPLACEMENT**: Replaced Arthur's default **Gambler's Hat** model with **John's classic hat**.
- **Material Renovation**: The hat has been retextured to make it look less shabby and more brand new.
- **Photo Update** (new in v2.0): Thanks to **Bolju**'s kind help, the mod now also replaces the hat in the **Lyle Morgan photo** next to Arthur's bed, making it a classic hat as well.
🛠️ Installation Guide
- **Required Tools**: Make sure you have **Lenny's Mod Loader (LML)** installed.
- **Installation steps**:
- Unzip the downloaded compressed package.
- Drag and drop all extracted files into the `stream` folder of LML.
- *Note*: LML may not create this folder automatically. If it does not exist, you need to manually create the `stream` folder in the `lml` folder of the game directory.
- The correct folder path should be similar to: `Red Dead Redemption 2\lml\stream`
- **Done**: Launch the game and enjoy! 🎮

📝Mod Description
This module is essentially an adjustment based on **Bolju**'s **Gambler Hat replacer**, which mainly solves the problem of hat position offset. The mod is released with the permission of the original author, and the credit for the retexture also goes to them! 👏
Now let Arthur wear that truly iconic hat when it counts!
Install & use Install: follow the bundled instructions
- Unzip the archive from playbuff and read the bundled readme / instructions first.
- There is no universal mod manager for this game: some mods replace game files directly, some go into a game-specific Mods folder, and some need a game-specific community loader or tool first — follow the bundled readme.
- Place the files exactly as the readme says; mods with listed dependencies need those installed too.
- Launch the game to confirm it loaded; some games require enabling mods in settings or an in-game mod menu.
Install locations vary a lot between games and mods — the bundled readme is the most reliable guide.
