🎮Mod Overview
This is a save file designed specifically for Chapter 4 of Red Dead Redemption 2, allowing you to enjoy a complete free-roam experience at Camp Shady Belle! The only main quest markers on the map are "American Father I" (option 1) or "City Fun" (option 2), allowing you to easily ignore the main quest and focus on exploration, challenges, and side quests.

⚙️ Two stopping point options
**Option 1:** Stop before "American Father I" mission
- For the best Chapter 4/Shadibele Camp free roaming experience, it is recommended to use it with the following mods:

- Shadibele expanded camp upgrade
- Arthur's Redemption.asi
**Option 2:** Stop before the "City Fun" mission
- Recommended matching modules:
- Say no to urban fun
- Shadibele expanded camp upgrade
- Arthur's Redemption.asi

🏕️ Why choose Shady Belle?
Shadybele is my personal favorite campsite! There is plenty of space and houses to provide shelter in the event of bad weather. Paired with map modules such as **Shadibele Expanded Camp Upgrade**, the atmosphere can be further enhanced.
For unlimited replay value, it is recommended to add the following script mods:
- Gangster hideout
- Bounty hunting
- AMJM Transport
- Mary Linton joins the gang (the name may be misleading, but it actually also makes Sadie a companion!)
- RDRFR
---
⚠️ Usage suggestions
Although not required, I recommend using it with Arthur's Redemption script (only use the ASI file, not the mod's save file). With this script, certain gang members like Dutch and Micah will no longer appear, but the trade-off is that there are very few minor bugs or glitches in the camp.
**IMPORTANT:** If using this script, please do not attempt to advance the story as it was originally designed for Chapter 6.

📁 Installation instructions
- **Backup First** or move your current Red Dead Redemption 2 save file! (Path: Documents\Rockstar Games\Red Dead Redemption 2\Profiles\######\)
- Download and unzip the archive file: **SRDR30000** to your "Red Dead Redemption 2" archive folder

💫 Experience unlimited freedom
This save is for players who wish to make their home at Shadybele Camp and stop story progress here. Just ignore the main quest marker (which is hard to accidentally trigger and requires very close proximity to activate) and you can enjoy:
- Complete various challenges
- Hunt down bounties
- Collect items
- Hunting adventure
- Treasure hunt mission
- Stranger mission
Roam freely as a healthy Arthur and treat this as an alternative storyline following the events of Blackwater!
Install & use Install: follow the bundled instructions
- Unzip the archive from playbuff and read the bundled readme / instructions first.
- There is no universal mod manager for this game: some mods replace game files directly, some go into a game-specific Mods folder, and some need a game-specific community loader or tool first — follow the bundled readme.
- Place the files exactly as the readme says; mods with listed dependencies need those installed too.
- Launch the game to confirm it loaded; some games require enabling mods in settings or an in-game mod menu.
Install locations vary a lot between games and mods — the bundled readme is the most reliable guide.
