American quarter horse replaces Hungarian half-blood horse
American Quarter Horse
🐎Module introduction
This mod replaces the game's Hungarian Half-blood Horse with an elaborate **American Quarter Horse**. The author believes that the Hungarian Half-blood horse is inappropriate in the game and may not even be a real breed. These horses were made entirely from scratch and should be some of the best in the game!
🎨 Version update
- **Version 1.1**: Some minor fixes to horse legs
- **Version 2.0**: Added 3 new coat colors
- **Version 3.0**: More coat colors have been added, but buckskin and maroon are not available in older versions of the game because they use newer online resources.
- **Version 4.0**: The new coat color is only applicable to the latest version of the game
🔧 Installation instructions
- First install AB Scripthook
- Install Red Dead Redemption 2 - String Translator to ensure names are displayed correctly
- Install Lenny's Mod Loader RDR
- Copy all files for this module to the home directory, replacing files if necessary
💡 Usage Tips
You can combine coat colors from different packs, just rename them in the translator. For example, if you want to display the correct coat color name, just open the translator and replace all "Blue Roan" with "Reverse Dapple Liver Chestnut".
Enjoy riding these beautiful horses through the Wild West!
Install & use Install: follow the bundled instructions
- Unzip the archive from playbuff and read the bundled readme / instructions first.
- There is no universal mod manager for this game: some mods replace game files directly, some go into a game-specific Mods folder, and some need a game-specific community loader or tool first — follow the bundled readme.
- Place the files exactly as the readme says; mods with listed dependencies need those installed too.
- Launch the game to confirm it loaded; some games require enabling mods in settings or an in-game mod menu.
Install locations vary a lot between games and mods — the bundled readme is the most reliable guide.
