Hi friends! 🎮 I am here to share my personal "Red Dead Redemption 2" ReShade quality preset, hoping to add more visual enjoyment to your journey to the west!
✨ Default Features
This is a ReShade preset that I personally tuned to enhance the overall visual atmosphere of the game. The V.2.0 version mainly fixes the **brightness issue** that may have existed in the previous version, making the picture look more natural and harmonious.
📥 Installation Guide
The installation process is very simple, please follow these steps:
- **Download ReShade**
- First, you need to download the ReShade main program.
- **Standard Edition (DirectX)**:
- **Vulkan version**: If you run your game using the Vulkan API, please download this version:
- ⚠️ Note: This Vulkan version is an unofficial build, your anti-virus software may give false positives, please feel free to use it.
- **Install ReShade**
- Run the downloaded ReShade installer.
- Click **"Select the game"**, and then select your game's main program `RDR2.exe`.
- Depending on how your game runs, choose **Direct3D 12** or **Vulkan**.
- Download recommended shader packs.
- When you see the **"DONE"** prompt, ReShade is installed! 🎉
- **Download and Install My Presets**
- You can download directly from the page, or download from this link:
- After downloading, find the file `SweetFX_Settings_b'Red Dead Redemption 2'_b'RDR 2 by Alonz'.txt`.
- **Important**: Rename this to `RDR 2 by Alonz.ini`.
- Copy this `.ini` file to the root directory of your game where `RDR2.exe` is located.
- **Start the game! **
- After completing the above steps, start "Red Dead Redemption 2". Press the **Home** button in game to bring up the ReShade menu and make sure my preset `RDR 2 by Alanz` is loaded and enabled.

Install & use Install: follow the bundled instructions
- Unzip the archive from playbuff and read the bundled readme / instructions first.
- There is no universal mod manager for this game: some mods replace game files directly, some go into a game-specific Mods folder, and some need a game-specific community loader or tool first — follow the bundled readme.
- Place the files exactly as the readme says; mods with listed dependencies need those installed too.
- Launch the game to confirm it loaded; some games require enabling mods in settings or an in-game mod menu.
