All missions in Part 1 and 2 of the Epilogue - All Gold Medals - Pure Archives
🎮 **Welcome to the final chapter of Red Dead Redemption 2! ** This archive collection is designed to give you the perfect starting point so you can focus on experiencing John Marston's story without having to grind for gold again and again.
✨ Archive Features
- **Full Gold Medal Clearance**: All missions in Parts 1 and 2 of Epilogue have achieved a gold medal rating.
- **High Honor Value**: The character has a high honor level.
- **Pure experience**: As part of the "Barebones" series, **deliberately avoids most stranger quests, random events and collectibles**, just to allow you to have the fun of exploring these contents yourself.
- **Detailed Index**: Comes with a text file that clearly lists the specific tasks for each archive.
📁 Archive content description
**Things I deliberately left unfinished (leaving them for you to experience)**
To avoid ruining your gaming experience, I avoid the following like the plague:
- 🚫 **Random interaction event**: Basically no trigger.
- 🚫 **Hunting and Crafting**:
- Not hunting any pelts means **the backpack is not upgraded at all**.
- No materials for the costume were submitted to the trapper.
- 🚫 **Picture Book and Collection**:
- The illustrated book of flora and fauna is far from full, and apart from a few basic plants, almost no plants have been collected.
- **No gold bars have been picked up** (except for the one given to Arthur in the plot). Early funds were accumulated by repeatedly hijacking passenger trains to the Ambarino Tunnel (no reward, money comes quickly, you can check it out if you are interested).
- 🚫 **Challenges and Equipment**:
- No challenges are deliberately advanced (although some progress is inevitable, such as winning a few poker games in the priest mission).
- Only obtained guns that were free or found in missions and fully upgraded (but no custom appearance).
**Special things I have done (spoilers involved)**
To make sure you get to experience all the unmissable and ending-impact content, I've done a few key things in Chapter 6:
⚠️ **Mild spoiler warning** ⚠️
- 💰 **Aberdeen Pig Farm**: Completed the stranger mission, but **did not get the money** back. This is the only way to pass Arthur's money to John. If you choose to take advantage of this, John will have a large amount of starting capital. Of course, you can also choose to start with the "penniless" John for a purely "pure" experience.
- 🎭 **Story Mission**: Complete **"Don't Seek Absolution"** and **"The Course of True Love"**, make sure you can see the corresponding results at the end and have a specific item.
- 👵 **Character Interaction**: Have Arthur help **Charlotte** so that John can trigger a unique follow-up interaction with her at the end.
- 🏞️ **Location Events**: Cleaned up event areas for **Castor Ridge, Appleseed Timber Company, and Central Union Railroad Camp** as these would no longer be available at the end.
- 🐎 **Extra Mount**: Tamed the **Warped Brindle Arabian** in the mountains near Wapiti in advance. It's not exactly in the spirit of "purity," but it's not the best Arabian horse, and if you release it, it will refresh and you can re-tame it yourself.
