FAQ:
Q: Why does the model work but still only fires one bullet?
A: As stated in the readme, you cannot have conflicting Weapons.ymt files as this is the file that controls all weapon stats and properties in the game. If you are using extensive weapon overhauls, such as ammo, they will not work together without a compatibility patch from the author.
Q: Why doesn't the model work?
A: Press the Tab key twice to change the model.
Q: How do I merge this mod with other mods?
A: All changed entries are available in the readme file. You can add the first 2 entries to their respective locations and then replace the Springfield entry with the 3rd one. Note that again this won't work with extensive weapon overhauls, as the stats I've made are tailored to the vanilla game.
Question: Why is it named "AK-47" when it is obviously an AKM?
A: I do this for the simple reason that it is easier to find under its signature name.
Install & use Install: follow the bundled instructions
- Unzip the archive from playbuff and read the bundled readme / instructions first.
- There is no universal mod manager for this game: some mods replace game files directly, some go into a game-specific Mods folder, and some need a game-specific community loader or tool first — follow the bundled readme.
- Place the files exactly as the readme says; mods with listed dependencies need those installed too.
- Launch the game to confirm it loaded; some games require enabling mods in settings or an in-game mod menu.
Install locations vary a lot between games and mods — the bundled readme is the most reliable guide.
