🐎 About the author
Hello everyone! I am Agentized, you can call me Agent or Ashe. Welcome to my little world!
I'm an equestrian enthusiast with over ten years of riding experience, so I have a soft spot for this game and its horses! Horses are more than just a hobby for me, they are a passion and I have even studied them down to their genetic level. So...my goal is to bring as accurate and completely gorgeous horses to Red Dead Redemption 2 as possible!
🎨Module introduction
Here is my ever-expanding catalog of horse coat colors! Although I'm new to horse coat color modding and only know how to mix and match vanilla markings, I had a lot of fun making new horses and decided to share them with the community.
I'm not taking any requests at the moment as I want to improve my coding and color palette experience first and get the horses I want to make into the game first. Requests may be opened in the future!
❓ FAQ
**Why is there only one Dutch Warmblood horse? **
I've always wanted to see a horse looking like that in a game! Black horses are my favorite. The Dutch Warmblood horse model looks really good - and is one of the few breeds in the game that might realistically have that coat color.
**Why is it all Sharma? **
I can't stand to see such a huge difference in size in a carriage or coaching team! You want the pull team to be as close in size as possible, otherwise the reins will be uneven! Of all the draft horses in the game, the Shire is my favorite. They are also the most colorful draft horses in the game.
**Why are there draft horse hybrids? **
First off, yes, I just used the Suffolk Punch model. While I'm sure I could fiddle with the model and customize one, I think the Suffolk model will suffice here. Secondly, I hate the size of the Morgan horses in the game, I feel like not everyone would ride a thoroughbred more realistically. Additionally, the variety of riding horse models makes the game more interesting. No, I'm not done replacing all the Morgan horses yet.

Install & use Install: follow the bundled instructions
- Unzip the archive from playbuff and read the bundled readme / instructions first.
- There is no universal mod manager for this game: some mods replace game files directly, some go into a game-specific Mods folder, and some need a game-specific community loader or tool first — follow the bundled readme.
- Place the files exactly as the readme says; mods with listed dependencies need those installed too.
- Launch the game to confirm it loaded; some games require enabling mods in settings or an in-game mod menu.
Install locations vary a lot between games and mods — the bundled readme is the most reliable guide.
