The Wall
Adds another mountain after the peak! (Please look at the readme/full description)
About this mod Author’s original text
This mod was originally made for caldera! I started working on it about 2 days before the final update was announced (unfortunate timing really) but i have made a version that works with the gloom and other new stuff, even though i think its much more interesting with caldera.
This mod has to actually generate the mountain once you start the game so you will most likely be in loading for about 1-2 minutes longer than usual, try to stay tabbed in, it generates faster that way.
This has not been really tested yet so expect it to be potentially unfair...
This mountain is potentially quite laggy, im hoping to optimize it in the future but downloading optimization mods does help, tropics alpine is the least laggy so do those maps if its too laggy.
You will need to bring a flare up it, or bring the gems. though the peak will still have flares so if nothing generated over the flares you can get them from there when on a lower ascent
I recommend you bring chain launchers, they are especially useful on this mountain (you'll see why).
you will know once you've reached the end
-- CONFIG --
Start At Wall - If true you start at the wall with no items, do not do ascent 8 with this yet it doesnt give the gems
Render Distance - How far things render (reduce if laggy)
Spawn Nature Items (Host Only) - If on nature items will spawn, this can be laggy but makes the mountain a bit easier
Install & use Install: BepInEx plugin
- The archive from playbuff is the mod itself — usually a BepInEx plugin (a .dll or a plugin folder once unzipped).
- Recommended: use a community mod manager (such as r2modman) — pick this game, import the mod, and the manager sets up BepInEx and its dependencies for you.
- Manual route: install the BepInEx loader in the game folder, then drop the unzipped .dll or plugin folder into BepInEx/plugins/.
- Launch the game — the BepInEx console logs every plugin it loads; seeing this mod in the log means it is installed.
Mods with listed dependencies need those installed too, or they will not load. Options are usually changed in-game or in the plugin's config file.
Install these first, or the mod will not work:
