v1.0.0·Updated 2026-09-28

Multiplayer split-screen monitoring: Press F9 to open the menu and list all teammates in the room. You can watch any number of teammates at the same time and automatically split the screen equally. It supports watching all and canceling all with one click. The lower left corner of each grid can optionally display the native status bar and inventory. The status bar is a clone of the game's native stamina bar, and its appearance is exactly the same as the original version. There is also a small window for your own perspective (also displayed in native viewing), calls that ignore distance and blocked teammates (it will take effect if you listen to the other party's installation, and the other party needs to install both parties to listen; it will automatically hang up when you leave the room), and the ghost voice that can be turned on and off independently in native viewing (the default is off, and the other party cannot notice the game when it is turned off)

About this mod Machine translation

Teammates watching the game

You can watch any number of teammates at the same time, or you can choose the native spectator mode to watch a single teammate. A purely entertainment mod that makes you look like a security guard in the control room.

Function

  • F9 menu: List all teammates in the room (display name + number), you can turn on/off watching the game one by one, or you can "watch all teammates" or "cancel watching all teammates" with one click. When the menu is opened, it will automatically take over the mouse and freeze the local operation without pressing ESC; in the upper right corner, you can switch between Chinese/English and remember the selection.
  • Multi-channel split screen: There is no limit to the number of people watching the battle. The screen is automatically arranged equally according to the number of people (see the layout table in "Usage"). It can be rearranged immediately after adding or deleting windows.
  • Own small window: Superimpose a small window in the corner of the screen to play your own character's viewing perspective (closed by default). The entire window can be dragged and moved, and the lower right corner can be dragged to zoom, and the position and size are automatically remembered. It can be displayed in both multi-channel split screen and native spectator mode.
  • Status bar and inventory: The status bar and inventory of the teammate can be displayed in the lower left corner of each split screen. This is enabled by default. The status bar directly clones and renders the game's native stamina bar. The color, icon and stroke are exactly the same as the original version; the inventory bar is a square icon grid, and the selected slot stroke is highlighted. The above content scales proportionally with the size of the grid, and can be manually increased or decreased in the menu.
  • Name tag: The name and number of the teammate being watched can be displayed in the upper left corner of each frame. It is enabled by default and can be turned off in the menu to hide all text.
  • Native viewing mode: Directly takes over the main camera, the picture is exactly the same as the game's native ghost viewing, full resolution, no additional rendering overhead, watching one target at the same time, only for monitoring (freezes the movement and attack of the machine, does not fight on behalf of the player). After turning it on, please click on a teammate in the menu or use "Previous/Next" to switch targets; the small window in the corner can still be displayed normally during the takeover. There is no need to enable this configuration after the camera is completely knocked out. The target switching button in the menu will also take over the main camera. This mode is mutually exclusive with multi-channel split screen: when the takeover is in effect, the split screen grid is hidden, only the full-screen native viewing screen is displayed, and it is automatically restored after exiting.
  • Ghost voice (independent switch in the panel, off by default): During the native spectator takeover, a network ghost that follows the target is generated for the local machine. The voice position heard by teammates comes from near the spectator target (consistent with the original post-death spectator), which facilitates normal dialogue. This switch only affects the voice position: no ghosts are generated when turned off, and the opponent cannot detect that you are watching the battle through your voice; no ghosts are generated in multi-channel split-screen mode. Ghosts are automatically removed when the takeover is closed or exited; ghosts are automatically generated by the original version after the machine is completely knocked out, without this switch.
  • Adjustment window: After opening, you no longer control your own character (no movement, no steering, no attack, no interaction). The mouse is exclusively used to operate the viewing window. Drag the middle of the window to move the position, drag the lower right corner to …

Install & use Install: BepInEx plugin

  1. The archive from playbuff is the mod itself — usually a BepInEx plugin (a .dll or a plugin folder once unzipped).
  2. Recommended: use a community mod manager (such as r2modman) — pick this game, import the mod, and the manager sets up BepInEx and its dependencies for you.
  3. Manual route: install the BepInEx loader in the game folder, then drop the unzipped .dll or plugin folder into BepInEx/plugins/.
  4. Launch the game — the BepInEx console logs every plugin it loads; seeing this mod in the log means it is installed.

Mods with listed dependencies need those installed too, or they will not load. Options are usually changed in-game or in the plugin's config file.

Install these first, or the mod will not work:
